...There were many Christians during the revolutionary war that didnt want to fight a war against England and felt they should obey the law of the King ..well if no one would have fought we would have no America and so now there are many of you who think we shouldn't stand up for the 10 Commandments and God in government because judges have decided it's against the constitution that was written by men who all through the battle for independence called for days of prayer, fasting and humbling their selves before the Lord.

Rev.John Muhlenburg was present when Patrick Henry proclaimed those famous words "give me liberty or give me death!"
after which he ran back over to George Washington and quickly enlisted in the American Army.
He went back to His church and preached His final sermon reading ecclesiastes 3:1 " To every thing there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven".Then he announced,"there is a time to preach and a time to pray, but there is also a time to fight and that time has now come".Then he stepped from behind the pulpit ripping of his black robe. revealing the uniform of an american colonel soldier he wore undearneth. The entire audience of men enlisted that day in the fight for freedom !

As little David the sheperd boy (who stood up against the giant Goliath while everyone else trembled at his feet-harassed by his own brothers for his boldness) proclaimed!" Is there not a cause" so I proclaim to you !
Are there any revolutionaries? I am glad that thousands ,hundreds and even a million people can be gathered to pray for our country. But why cant we get these numbers to gather and take a stand for our freedom in Montgomery Alabama? Don't get me wrong i very much believe in the power of prayer.  There is a time for prayer. there is a time for intersession. Then there is a time to rise up in the power of His might (Jesus) and say enough is enough and be the answer to that prayer! I salute the few elderly and crippled people (one lady was in a wheel chair) who were being dragged off by police for taking a stand for what they believe in (one lady said at least i can tell my children i tried to do something). But where are the young ? where are the other christians? where are the revolutionaries? we're in danger of losing our freedom and no longer being a God fearing Country. Half of Africa is now Christian and sending missionaries to us! There are now more christians in China were the true believers- the underground church are still tortured and killed for their beliefs. oh yes you can be a christian in china and go to the state approved churches but you can not proclaim your faith in public. so they meet underground in secret locations and risk their lives to share their faith. While here in America its hard to get a christian to share their faith...Where is the boldness? Where is the Power? Have we drown in the sea of relativism? ..programmed puppets of popular culture? God has not given us a spirit of fear (timidy) but of power....
In closing i would like to share with you some words of warning we would do good as a nation to heed from our first president George Washingtons' inaugural speech ..."It would be peculiarly improper to omit, in this first official act, my fervent supplication to that Almighty Being, who rules over the universe, who presides in the councils of nations, and whose providential aids can supply every human defect, that His benediction may consecrate to the liberties and happiness of the people of the United States...No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the invisible hand which conducts the affairs of men more than the people of the United States. Every step by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation seems to have been distinguished by some token of providential agency...We ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right, which Heaven itself has ordained."
