receiving the Holy Spirit ...

JESUS tells us  that when he left earth God would send us (His believers)  another counselor (comforter - encourager - advocate) the Holy Spirit ;  He  will never leave us  -   He  will guide us into all truth He will live in us -  He  will teach us and show us the future -  He always glorifies Jesus and doesn't present his own ideas    John chapters 14, 15 + 16     Also  Acts 1:8  Jesus said when the Holy Spirit comes upon us we receive power (dunamis -  dynamite)  to be His  witnesses ( martyrs - even to the death)........HOW DO I RECEIVE .....GALATIANS 3:14 WE RECEIVE THE PROMISE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT THROUGH FAITH. we do not have to earn it or be good enough! we receive the Holy Spirit because of what Jesus has done, not because of what we do. read Luke 11:3 all you need to do is ask and receive. a simple prayer of faith is the key to receiving the baptism of the holy spirit! ask GOD in faith ,according to this promise, and believe you receive when you pray(mark 11:24).no matter how you feel, GOD WORD is true ! ! !God's WORD says ask and you receive. if you have asked, then you have received !...........***WHAT ABOUT TONGUES?***acts 2:4and they were all filled with the HOLY GHOST and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance...the Spirit gives the utterance, but you must do the speaking . the HOLY SPIRIT is a gentleman he will never force any one to do anything.1cor 14:2...abandon yourself in GOD! humble yourself before HIM. step out in faith and receive! don't be found guilty of having a form of Godliness, but denying the power thereof> receive all GOD has for you!.....A SUPERNATURAL PRAYER LIFE....1COR 14:2HE THAT SPEAKETH IN AN UNKNOWN TONGUE SPEAKETH NOT UNTO MEN BUT UNTO GOD: FOR NO MAN UNDERSTANDETH HIM; HOWBEIT iN THE SPIRIT HE SPEAKETH MYSTERIES...WHEN WE PRAY IN THE TONGUES OUR SPIRIT IS IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE FATHER OF SPIRITS.1COR 14:14TELLS US TONGUES COME  UP OUT OF THE SPIRIT<NOT THE MIND. IT BYPASSES YOUR MIND AND COMES STRAIGHT FROM YOUR SPIRIT.1COR 14:4SAYS PRAYING iN TONGUES WILL EDIFY OUR SPIRITUAL LIFE..BUILD US UP AND KEEP US STRONG..CHARGING US UP LIKE A BATTERY! ARE YOUR BATTERIES LOW? IF EVER THERE WAS A TIME WE NEED THE POWER AND PRESENCE OF THE PRECIOUS HOLY SPIRIT IT IS NOW!! THIS WORLD NEEDS TO SEE GODS MIRACULOUS POWER iN ACTION IN OUR LIVES! THE BIBLE SAYS JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER ! AND IT IS TRUE ! ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS BELIEVE! JUST BELIEVE AND STEP OUT IN FAITH ! GOD DOES THE REST. HOW SIMPLE IS THAT? AS  A CHILD, ENTER THE KINGDOM!!!!
